Reactivity can describe a wide variety of behaviors that all boil down to this: your dog has a reaction that’s disproportionate to the stimulus that’s causing it. That reaction (pulling, lunging, barking, growling) might be driven by fear, anxiety, excitement, frustration, guarding, aggression, or any number of emotions. Teaching your dog to cope requires different skills than typical manners training. Learning how starts here!
This is an in-person course that will pair online instruction and introduction (with the companion self-led course) with practice, coaching, and feedback in a class environment. Your dog will use their newly acquired reactivity coping skills to begin working off of other dogs and people in a small group and controlled set ups.
Dates of the class are: 03/11, 03/18, 03/25, 04/01
Graduates of Charisma Save are invited to move on to Charisma Check - the older sister to Charisma Save, which focuses on practicing and perfecting these skills in busier environments.
